I’m sorry I haven’t posted in forever, I’ve honestly gotten bored of writing. I know that sounds bad, but it happens. I’m going to make chapter 31 and that’ll be the end of this story. 

However, I’m totally up for making another one. If you have any ideas or something you’d like in it, just let me know.

My pulse was through the roof. I couldn’t believe that today was my big day. I stood behind closed doors to the entrance of the church. I could see people inside, every single spot was taken. I saw Mike next to Vic, as best man, Tony next to him and Jaime on the end. My eyes fluttered to my side of the alter. Katelynne was my maid of honor followed by two friends from back in the day. Every single one of them looked amazing. I couldn’t see Vic’s face, only his silhouette was visible.

My dads armed looped into mine and the doors opened. My veil was gently placed over my face and we took our first step together. My body shivered with nerves with each step. Everyone I looked at had huge smiles plastered on their faces. It seemed like all too quickly that I was presented in front of Vic. My dad pulled my veil back and gave me a kiss on the cheek, a quick “I love you” was passed between the two of us. 

I moved up next to Vic. His face was plain, no excitement in his eyes. That worried me. I stared at Vic for what seemed like forever until the priest began talking. All I needed was one last look at everyone who had come to support us. My body concaved on itself when I saw no one in the pews. The church was vacant, as if no one had ever been here. My head shot back up to Vic. I noticed the priest, Mike, Tony, Jaime, Katelynne and the other two were gone as well. It was just Vic and I hand in hand at the alter.

His adam’s apple quivered before he opened his mouth. 

“Riley, I can’t do this.” He stated sharply.

I could feel my face flush and brows furrow. 

“What are you talking about, Vic?” I asked nervously.

“I just, I just don’t think you’re the one for me.” He said emptily. 

My jaw popped open and my world went black. I felt like I was in another universe. This couldn’t possibly be happening. I blinked, closed my eyes for a fraction of a second and was alone. Vic had disappeared with the rest of them. I stood alone in the church, my heart thumping against the walls of my chest. 


My body jolted up out of bed. Rapid breathing, thank god it was just a dream. I ran my hands over my face, a cold sweat had soaked me. I looked over and saw that Vic wasn’t in bed with me, but there was a note on the dresser opposite of me. 

I slowly made my way out of bed and walked over to see what it said. 

Riley,
I went grocery shopping with Ray. Be back in a bit.
Love you.

I was expecting much worse, maybe I hadn’t woken up yet; but I was much luckier than that. 

I took a quick shower in an attempt to rid my body of the memories of that dream. It made me such a mixture of nerves and anticipation. I didn’t like that.

Once I had gotten out and gotten dressed I heard Vic singing downstairs so I went to help him with the groceries. 

As soon as my foot hit the last stair Raylyn ran by me. She was just this little ball of energy and I loved her. 

I walked up behind Vic and wrapped my arms around his waist before pulling him in for a kiss.

“Hey there baby.” He smiled.

“Hi.” I smiled back.

“How’d you sleep?” He asked happily.

I didn’t see the point in telling him about my dream. 

“Good.” I said plainly.

“What are you up to today?” He asked. 

“Hmmm. Nothing too exciting.” I said sadly.

“Do you want to come down to the studio today. I can show you the new album. You can be the first to hear it.” He smiled.

“Okay, that sounds good to me.” I replied.

No matter how absolutely shitty I feel, there is something about Vic that makes me so happy. He’s the most amazing person that I have ever met and I can’t even begin to explain how happy I am that we met. 

In one swift motion he wrapped his hands around my legs and lifted me up onto the counter. He came in closer to me and kissed me hard. 

His skin felt so warm against mine. He let one hand slide up around the back of my neck. His hands were so strong, I knew that he could really hurt someone with the strength that he has and that’s fascinating to me.

In the background I could hear Ray giggling and watching some silly kids show. Everything was perfect. I mean, except for that dream. It seems like it’s made a huge mark on my brain.  

A little while later we left to head down to the studio. No one else was there, so we walked in. I put Raylyn down and she walked around the room, exploring everything possible. Vic handed me a pair of headphones. I put them on and watched him clicked a bunch of buttons. The first song started and it was pretty good. 

The entire album was amazing. They tried a lot of new stuff out and I couldn’t have been more in love with it. During the last song Jaime walked in through the back door. 

“Hey, what’s up?” He asked happily.

“Just wanted to show Riley the new album.” Vic smiled.

“It’s awesome, right?” Jaime said excitedly.

“It’s really fucking good.” I smiled back.

My hand came up over my mouth as quickly as possible. I was trying so hard not to swear in front of Ray because she’s been picking up our words. 

Within 2 seconds she came running around the corner at Jaime. He bent down and grabbed her in his arms. She loved him.

“Ahhhhhh.” She screamed happily.

Jaime flipped her upside down and she laughed.

We all headed home and I started cooking dinner. Jaime and Vic were already sitting at the table while Ray helped me cook. I loved having my own little family. 

I placed a salad and some steak on the table as the guys dove in. We were all eating when Vic cleared his throat uncomfortably.

“So, Riley. We’re shooting a video this weekend to promote the new tour.” He said plainly.

“That’s awesome.” I smiled. 

“Yeah, well there’s this one scene that I wanted to run by you.” Vic murmured. 

He was really acting strange and I didn’t like it.

I nodded my head in encouragement.

He looked down and then at Jaime before continuing.

“They want me to make out with this girl, and I know you’re probably gonna freak out about that, but like it’s not a real kiss, it’s just for this stupid video. It’s obviously not going to mean anything to me. It’s just for the video.” He said quickly.

My mind was doing a million things at once. I proccessed the information I was just given for a few seconds before responding. 

“Vic, I trust you. I know you wouldn’t do anything that would damage our relationship. It’s for the band, and I’m okay with that. But if you look like you enjoy it, I’m going to punch you.” I said with a smirk. 

We sat at the table for awhile longer and finished dinner.
